The 3/8" pile is dense and evenly clipped, and the silk is used exactly where it should be, on the petal edges and leaf tips, so the flowers lift out of the wool whenever the light moves across the room. Design and Motifs

The field runs on a central vertical axis of 4 large serrated palmettes, each one built from layered cream, camel and blush leaflets around a small burgundy heart. Flanking them are big wheel rosettes in taupe and sage, some outlined in near-black navy so they read as darker anchors within the repeat. Thin vine scrolls arc between the elements and tie the whole field together without ever crowding it, and small 5 petal blossoms, buds and lanceolate leaves fill the open ground.
