Design and Motifs

The field follows a classic all-over floral layout built around a single small rosette at the exact center, from which long feathered leaf sprays radiate toward the 4 corners. Between them sit large curled saz leaves, crowned palmettes, split arabesques and small ivory blossoms, each outlined so the drawing stays legible against the dark ground. Two rows of tiny square rosettes anchor the vertical axis. The main border runs a chain of 8 petal ivory and gold rosette cartouches separated by leafy panels, framed on both sides by narrow floral guard stripes and a slim red outline. A Dark Green Field with Olive, Rust and Antique Gold
