The field is a warm ivory that shifts toward cream and light champagne depending on how the light falls across the low pile, and it stays open enough that the pattern never crowds the eye. The border ground is a tan brown with a soft mushroom and camel cast, a full shade darker than the field, so the rug has a clear frame without a hard colour break. Inside that framework the weavers worked a quiet accent palette: muted salmon and terracotta in the medallion petals, sage and soft blue green in the leaves and guard stripes, dark aubergine and deep navy outlining the spandrel blossoms, and small touches of pale ivory silk picking out individual petal tips.
