The wool is hand spun, which is why the ground breathes with gentle striation rather than sitting flat, and the pile takes light differently as you walk around it. Nothing about the rug is machine made or printed: every knot is tied by hand, and the piece ships with a certificate of authenticity confirming the weave, materials and origin.

Design and Motifs

The field is an all-over design built from staggered rows of stylized trees rather than a central medallion. Tall cypress forms filled with red and green blossom panels alternate with slender candelabra trees, bare ivory saplings with budded branches, and flowering shrubs that read almost like garden sketches. Between them sit large radiating palmettes in rust and gold, small 8 petal rosettes, curling leaves and strings of dark berries on thin stems. The composition is loosely mirrored across the center line, with a single crowned rosette anchoring the middle, and the absence of a border lets the trees appear to continue past the selvedge, which is what gives this Soltani drawing its calm, uncrowded feel at 4 corners of the room.

A Multi Neutral Palette on Soft Brown

The ground is a warm mid brown that shifts toward taupe and camel where the hand spun wool changes tone, an abrash that runs in soft horizontal bands through the whole field. Against that neutral base the motifs carry real color: brick and tomato red in the palmettes and tree trunks, burnt orange and saffron gold in the flower heads, clean ivory in the bare saplings and small blossom centers, deep indigo and dusty slate blue in the buds, and quiet bottle green inside the cypress panels. A few darker aubergine and chocolate trees along the ends weight the composition.
