The spacing is generous, so the green ground stays visible and the pattern never turns busy. The main ivory border runs a turtle-and-rosette rhythm with large open blossoms at the corners and mid-points, held between narrow brown and rust guard stripes that are drawn with real precision, visible in the close border photographs.
